Mill River Brewing will hold its Third Annual Clean Water Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, Feb. 19th, 2022. The derby location is the same: Missisquoi Bay, near The Tyler Place. This derby will also benefit the FNLC and is part of an ongoing Clean Water Campaign and partnership.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Bay Store, Martin's Store, and MRB.
 (On day of event, you can register in person starting at 7AM.)
Registration fee: $25 Â Children under age 10: free
MRB is excited to provide people with something to look forward to that will be COVID-19 compliant. Bring your warm clothes and meet us on the ice for a day of ice fishing, lunch and prizes to end the event!
Your registration will make you eligible for prizes as well as a "Grab N' Go" catered by Mill River Brewing BBQ & Smokehouse from 11:00- 1:00PM the day of.
Last February, Mill River Brewing BBQ & Smokehouse held its 2nd Annual Clean Water Ice Fishing Derby to benefit the Friends of Northern Lake Champlain (FNLC). About 150 people of all ages participated in our inaugural event, which was a one-day, family-oriented yellow perch fishing derby that emphasized education and fun.
Mill River Brewing will hold its Third Annual Clean Water Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, Feb. 19th, 2022. The derby location is the same: Missisquoi Bay, near The Tyler Place. This derby will also benefit the FNLC and is part of an ongoing Clean Water Campaign and partnership between the brewery and the FNLC.
We are adjusting our derby to be COVID-compliant, but we will still be offering awards and prizes as well as a "Grab N' Go" from 11:00- 1:00PM.
Best part? Its all for a good cause!
In response to COVID-19: Â Organizations that host ice fishing derbies may do so under the following conditions.
Participants fish only with immediate family members or members of their immediate household.
Participants consistently maintain at least six feet of physical distance from anyone outside their immediate household and do not occupy shanties or popup shelters with individuals outside of their immediate household.
Participants must wear cloth face coverings whenever six feet of physical distance from anyone outside their immediate household cannot be consistently maintained, and are encouraged to wear a face covering throughout the duration of the derby.
Organizers must eliminate potential congregations of participants: Â Set up a process for fish entries that minimize groups and person-to-person contact.
Do not utilize fish display boards that attract crowds of viewers.
Eliminate in-person awards ceremonies and arrange individual prize pick-up for a later date under controlled conditions.
