About the event
Join Friends of Northern Lake Champlain for a stream cleanup along Rugg Brook in Saint Albans.
We'll be at a stretch of Rugg Brook from 10AM-12PM; you are welcome to leave at any time.
Parking: For this cleanup, we will park at 600 Industrial Park Road, where the owners of the lot have graciously allowed us their spaces for the day.
Our efforts will be focused on Rugg Brook as it flows past residential communities and busy roadways. Some areas near the brook may be steep, so please use caution at all times.
Bring your friends and family for a rewarding day of environmental stewardship—trash bags and other supplies will be provided! You will want to wear sturdy pants and shoes, clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring any additional supplies that you may deem necessary (like a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.)
